Artist's Comments
Miranda Otto as Eowyn, The Shield Maiden of Rohan. 
One of my fave characters in The Lord of the Rings. She's very gentle looking, but with a very courageous heart. 
Following the Harry Potter characters, I'm now doing the characters from LOTR, one of my favorite movies of all time. The reference pic that I got was so beautiful, Miranda Otto looked so gorgeous.
And as I've said in my journal, the original piece is for sale. I haven't thought of the price yet, but hopefully I'll be able to sell it. I'll also be doing a colored version of this, and with the lower half of the body already.
I actually got lazy with her dress detail...and her hair...Done with HB, B, 6B, 7B and F pencils, edited in photoshop.
Dedicated to ~Masqane and ~Nesshin and my other friends who I want to dedicate this to.
