...I think it was supposed to be Le Petite de Portrait de la Cossette, according to Wiki. But anyways, had the opportunity to watch the 3 episode OVA a while ago. It was....weird and creepy. It was also sad, with the guy going through all that, and Cossette dying in such a gruesome way. Anyways, I loved the animation, very smooth and 3d-ish. And I loved the creepiness, like when Cossette would suddenly appear out of nowhere. If this was made into live action, this is surely going to be scary. Just like Jigoku Shoujo, but I'll talk about that later. What I really loved is the soundtrack. Since I am a fan of Yuki Kajiura, I'm kinda collecting OSTs of her works. The moment I heard the opening theme of Le Petite de Portrait de Cossette, I immediately recognized this was a Yuki Kajiura music. Plus it has this gothic-like feel to it, plus the chorals, with a touch of techno...I could go on, but the bottom line is, I really love her music. And her style really fits to the anime.

As I've mentioned in the above paragraph, I've watched the live action of Jigoku Shoujo not so long ago. I though it would suck, since some of the live action renditions of some anime that I've seen were quite...not good. But it was a (pleasant) surprise that this live action actually creeped me out. And I'm not the kind of person that gets creeped out that easily. ALthough they changed the storyline a bit, it's still good. And seeing the 'tortures' in live action is much, much more scary than in the anime. Like for example, in one of the scenes were the antagonist was talking to her friends, it suddenly became dark in the hallway, then the heads of her two friends just fell down the floor, and stillcan talk. Not gory or anything, though. But still. Creeeeeeeepy.
